    International work

The school is pleased to have been awarded the full International School Award for its many activities promoting international values and interests amongst the entire school population. Pupils and staff alike enjoy the many special days and celebrations that incorporate the ethos, culture and values of other cultures and religions.

Music, dance, art and food are key elements that bring other parts of the world to our school and everyone takes pleasure in dressing in traditional costumes. The school is usually decorated with pupil art work and other artefacts and the whole atmosphere becomes quite magical.

The glorious Chinese Dragon and life size elephant are just two examples of features that add to make the occasions memorable as do the visiting many professionals and musicians. Many become firm friends and some such as the Lions of Zululand dance troop visit each year as they travel around the country.

Younger pupls enjoy following the travels of our very own Conwy Bear who has travelled far and wide with pupils and staff. He has even made a special pilgrimage to Mecca.
