    Physical Development

Pupils of all ages and abilities are encouraged to take part in a wide range of sporting opportunities, both within school and through wider experiences.    Throughout the year we have regular visiting professionals from organisations such as Reading Football Club to help the students increase their skills. Achievement is celebrated through certificates and national awards.

At the start of each day all students are invited to take part in “Act-Ei,” a sensory movement programme that promotes the core skills needed for physical and emotional development.

The daily sessions are also a great inclusion opportunity and offer students a chance to enhance their social skills with members of other classes.

It is appreciated if parents can provide appropriate clothing and footwear for PE, games and swimming.  This should include a towel for showers after PE and games lessons.

The school is given PE and Sport Premium funding for Primary pupils.
