    Pastoral Support

Staff in each class are responsible for the pastoral care of their pupils.  They are supported by the Deputy Head (Personal Development and Wellbeing) and an excellent Pastoral Support Team.

The Pastoral Support Team offers enhanced social and emotional support for pupils, when needed, through a range of interventions including; Theraplay, Animal Assisted Therapy, massage, aromatherapy, Mindfulness, Rebound Therapy and Aerial Yoga. Our Behaviour Support Practitioners are able to create individualised behaviour plans for pupils in need of extra support and our Outreach Support Worker is on hand to support parents and carers as and when needed.

The school has a Behaviour Policy based on an attitude of consideration, empathy and respect for all people. The school will give pupils the opportunity to be part of a fair, supportive, structured, community in which they can develop and thrive.

Behavior Watch is used to record and analyse pupil behaviour, both challenging and positive. This enables the Pastoral Team to offer the most appropriate interventions and measure outcomes.
