    Pastoral Support

Staff in each class are responsible for the pastoral care of their pupils.  They are supported by the Headteacher, Deputies, and Senior Leaders, and an excellent Pastoral Support Team. Within the Pastoral Support team are three experienced behaviour support staff. One member of this team is an experienced advanced Team Teach Tutor.

The Pastoral Support Team is able to offer enhanced social and emotional support for pupils, when needed, through a range of tiered interventions including, Child Psychology, Art Psychotherapy, Animal Assisted Therapy, Lego Therapy, massage, aromatherapy and individual behaviour plans.

The school has a Behaviour Policy and Code of Conduct based on an attitude of consideration and respect for all people and their property.  The school will give pupils the opportunity to be part of a fair, supportive, structured, community in which they can develop and thrive.

Behavior Watch is used to record and analyse pupil behaviour, both challenging and positive. This enables the Pastoral Team to offer the most appropriate interventions and measure outcomes.
