Lettings

We have a number of facilities which can be hired by the public for clubs and community groups.

The Sports Hall is a multipurpose area, with current availability in the evenings and for Long-Term Bookings. It can accommodate up to 60 people.

The Square is a much larger area that has a stage and an area that is ideal for seating or for setting up tables and chairs. It has been used for a wide variety of events, including parties, larger celebratory events, and even wedding receptions. It has lighting, a PA for music, a projector and can accommodate up to 300 people. This is generally available on weekends. 

 

 

We do not take individual bookings for our Hydrotherapy Pool. The pool is, however, used for swimming lessons and these can be booked via Swimkidz with lessons held every day of the week.

The Multi-Use Games Area (known as The MUGA) is our AstroTurf outdoor games space, with basketball hoops, football goals, and interactive skill-based games on the railings. The space is accessible from the neighbouring Meadway Sports Centre car park and currently is available outside of school hours. 

 

 

If you are interested in enquiring into hiring our facilities, please complete the Facilities Hire Enquiry Form on the right of this page. If we are able to accommodate your enquiry, a visit can then be arranged. Please note: all visits to the school must be arranged in advance. We will not be able to accommodate a viewing unless it is pre-arranged. For safeguarding reasons, visits will need to be outside of school hours. Hirers must be fully aware and informed of Keeping Children Safe in Education government guidance and the school safeguarding policy. The board of trustees and the headteacher, via the lettings officer, will ensure safeguarding requirements are included in a hire agreement as a condition of use of the premises.

 

Our general policy with all lettings is to operate a 9pm curfew, but on strictly limited occasions, extensions to this can be discussed. A 50% deposit secures a booking and the remainder is due on the day of the booking. All payments are by bank transfer.
